Veiled Chameleon - Female

 
The female veiled chameleon has a more delicate appearance, with soft green hues and subtle striping. They are slightly smaller but just as charming and make wonderful pets with proper care.
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate
Appearance: Light green with more muted color patterns compared to males. Females also lack the prominent casque seen in males. Get up to 18 inches long !
Husbandry: Similar to males, with special attention to egg-laying females requiring a nesting box to prevent health issues. Requires a spacious, well-ventilated enclosure with a mix of live plants and branches. Needs UVB lighting, daily misting for hydration, and temperatures ranging from 75–95°F with a basking spot. Humidity levels should be 50–70%.
