Strawberry rasboras are small, eye-catching fish that exhibit vibrant red bodies with hints of orange and a subtle stripe down their sides. Their peaceful nature and bright coloration make them an excellent choice for nano tanks and planted aquariums.

  • Appearance: These tiny fish grow to about 1 inch in length, with a bright red to orange body and a thin black line running along their side.
  • Schooling Fish: Yes, strawberry rasboras thrive in schools and should be kept in groups of at least 6–8 to feel secure and exhibit natural behaviors.
  • Behavior: Peaceful and shy, they are best kept with other small, non-aggressive species.
  • Compatible Tankmates: Strawberry rasboras do well with other peaceful nano fish like neon tetras, pygmy corydoras, and small shrimp species. Avoid larger or aggressive fish.
