Carpet Chameleon - Females

The female carpet chameleon is slightly smaller and more subdued in coloration but still showcases a fascinating array of geometric patterns and soft pastel tones.

Appearance: Females are 5–6 inches long with muted colors like green and brown, often accented by light stripes or dots.
Husbandry: Similar to males but requires a nesting area for egg-laying females.Requires a vertical, well-ventilated enclosure (minimum 18”x18”x36”) with climbing branches and live plants. UVB lighting is essential, with temperatures of 72–85°F and a basking spot around 90°F. Humidity should range from 50–70%, maintained through misting 2–3 times daily.
Diet: Feeds on gut-loaded insects like crickets, small roaches, and mealworms.
